About This Fund
TheMcClure's GoFundMe is currently on hold while the situation is being investigated. Until that process is complete, the family does not have access to any of the funds that were donated through GoFundMe, and it is unknown how long this could take to figure out.  
Meanwhile, Valerie and her family are in one of the most difficult seasons of their lives as they prepare to lay Kobyn to rest and begin the long journey of healing. If you were planning to support the family—or if you're waiting to see what happens with the GoFundMe—the McClure Recovery Fund through The D31 Foundation is available to help meet their immediate needs during this critical time.

All donations collected through this page are received and managed by The D31 Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (tax id: 86-3480355)
 
Funds will be designated for Valerie McClure and her family and may be used for needs related to Kobyn’s death, including:
Memorial and funeral expenses
Housing and rent support
Household items that had to be removed or replaced
Food and other immediate living expenses
Counseling and grief support
Other necessary expenses connected to the family’s recovery and ongoing care

The D31 Foundation Board of Directors will oversee the collection and distribution of these funds to help ensure they are used for the family’s documented needs.

Our website payment processor charges a 2.9% transaction fee on each donation. During checkout, donors will have the option to add a small amount to cover that fee so the full intended donation can go toward supporting the family.
Donations made through this page are separate from the original GoFundMe and will not be affected by its closure or refund process.
